To protect your home from leaks while electricity is out, we offer an optional battery backup for the Valve Controller. The battery backup will allow the Valve Controller to send you notifications on your phone in case water is detected, and close the water main if necessary. The backup battery supports up to 12 hours of connectivity and a single valve closure.
Since the Leak Detectors are battery-powered, they will continue to work during a power outage.
